Dana Point Harbor Retail Design Community Workshop
Monday, August 19 | 6 – 8 pm
Ocean Institute, Samueli Lecture Hall & Conference Center

Dana Point Harbor Partners invites members of the community to attend a design workshop to review and provide feedback on various aspects of the Dana Point Harbor Commercial Core Revitalization Plan.


Individual stations will address specific design elements of the Commercial Core currently under review including materials and color palettes, patios, trellises and awnings, events and public activation areas, landscape materials, tenant mix and more.

The design workshop is free to attend. Public input is encouraged and feedback will be collected anonymously. Community members are welcome to share the workshop information with others that may be interested in attending.

Redo Vintage & Maker's Market
Sunday, August 25 | 8 am – 3:30 pm at Del Prado, Dana Point

Join the Redo Market team August 25th from 8am - 3pm as we close Del Prado and create a pedestrian friendly Vintage and Artisan Market.

1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival
Saturday, October 5 | 3:30 – 8:30 pm

Experience the beauty as thousands of lights illuminate the water at the first-ever 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival at Dana Point Harbor, in partnership with Dana Point Harbor Partners.

Dana Point Harbor 50-Year Time Capsule Celebration

This special occasion is being presented in partnership with Dana Point Harbor Partners LLC, OC Parks, the City of Dana Point, Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, and Ocean Institute.

Festival of Whales
Join Dana Point Harbor for Festival of Whales! The annual family-friendly event celebrates the spring migration of gray whales with a parade, concerts, children’s activities, car shows, art shows, educational opportunities, food and fun in the harbor.

Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza

Turkey Trot
Each Thanksgiving Day, the Turkey Trot returns to beautiful Dana Point Harbor where participants wobble before they gobble! The panoramic and scenic race features a 10k, 5k and Kids Gobble Wobble and gives participants an excuse to each that extra slice of pie!

Holiday Boat Parade

Friday, Dec 6 and Saturday, Dec 7 – 7:30 pm
Friday, Dec 13 and Saturday, Dec 14 – 7:30 pm
4:30 pm-7:30 pm – Family Fun Festivities at Mariner’s Village/Alley and Dana Wharf

Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for the awards of Judges Choice, Best Theme, Best Use of Lights, Best Animation, Most Colorful, Most Original, Best Sailboat, Best Powerboat and the Perpetual Trophy for the Yacht Club with the Most Entries. They light up the evening with their amazing boats as they parade throughout the Harbor.

You can view the parade FREE from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of our restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. Come on down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

Dana Point Harbor is at 34555 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA. Additional parking is available for a fee at Doheny State Beach and you can jump on the FREE Trolley for a ride to the festivities (3:30pm-10:30pm).
