Flag Day is observed annually June 14 commemorating the adoption of the design of the American flag and coinciding with the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday.

In celebration, Vice Chair Katrina Foley will be displaying a field of 250 American flags in the park area near Baby Beach from June 12 through June 14, 2025, with a special ceremony on June 14, 2025, at 2 PM in honor of all military personnel, firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and other first responders.
